These terms explain how Hunt Rewards works: who can join, how points are earned, what points are and are not, and what happens if the rules are broken. Hunt Rewards is optional and free to join.
1. About these terms
Hunt Rewards (the "programme") is run by Newtact Lab Private Limited (OPC) ("Hunt", "we", "us"). These terms add to our Terms of Service. If they conflict, these terms apply to the programme. Our Privacy Policy explains the data the programme uses.
2. Who can join
- You must be 18 or older. We ask you to confirm your age when you join, and we may ask for proof later.
- The programme is open in India first. We may open it in other countries later, and some ways to earn may only work in some countries.
- One account per person. We may also limit the number of accounts on one device, browser or home internet connection.
- You must have a Hunt account, signed in with your own mobile number or email address.
- Hunt staff and their families may take part, but not in contests run by Hunt, unless a contest's rules say otherwise.
3. What points are, and what they are not
Points are a promotional loyalty reward with no cash value.
- Points are not money, a deposit, a wallet, a stored value, a payment instrument, a security or a virtual digital asset.
- Points cannot be bought, for money or anything else.
- Points cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, combined with another account or exchanged with other users.
- Points do not earn interest and are not your property; they are a record we keep of what you have earned under these terms.
- Points cannot be used to pay for anything, including to enter a game or a contest.
4. Redemption is not available yet
You cannot redeem points at the moment. We plan to open redemption later, for rewards such as gift cards. When we do, it will be under redemption terms we publish at that time. Those terms will set out the rewards, how many points each needs, any limits, any identity or tax checks, and how rewards are delivered.
We do not promise that redemption will open, what rewards will be offered, how many points any reward will need, or when. Hints in the product such as "points to your next reward" are only a guide and may change before redemption opens.
5. How you earn points
| Way to earn | How it works |
|---|---|
| Browsing | Points for active days and active time using Hunt, while usage statistics are on. Background or automated activity does not count. |
| Daily check-in | Points once a day when you check in. |
| Streaks | Bonus points for checking in on several days in a row. A limited number of restores per month can save a broken streak. |
| Referrals | Points when a friend you invited joins and stays active for the number of days shown in the referral panel. See section 8. |
| Offers | Points for completing offers from our partners, for example trying an app or answering a survey. See the Offers, Cashback and Affiliate Terms. |
| Shopping | Points for qualifying purchases at shops through our shopping links. See the Offers, Cashback and Affiliate Terms. |
| Games | Points for taking part in games or game offers, where offered. See section 7. |
| Sponsored notifications | Optional. If you turn them on, extra points for each sponsored notification shown, a few a day at most. You never need them to earn any other points. |
| Contests and promotions | Only as set out in that contest's own rules. See the Contest Rules. |
Hunt extensions. You can also earn points in Hunt extensions installed from a browser's extension store. Each extension shows what earns points in it, and one Hunt account collects points from all of them.
Things that never earn points: installing, rating or reviewing any Hunt app or extension; searching, or clicking search results or ads; and results in games played inside an extension from a browser's extension store.
We set the number of points for each activity, and we may change it. The current values are shown in the points panel. Changes apply from when they are shown and do not take away points you have already been credited, except under sections 6 and 11.
6. Daily limits, tiers, and pending points
- Daily limits. There is a limit on the points you can earn from browsing and some other activities each day. Your limit depends on your tier and is shown in the points panel.
- Tiers. Your tier depends on the total points you have ever earned. Higher tiers have higher daily limits. We may change the tiers and their limits.
- Pending points. Points from offers and shopping start as pending, because partners can cancel them, for example after a refund, a return, a cancelled order or a partner's own fraud check. Pending points become available after the hold period shown in your points history.
- Reversals. If a partner cancels or reverses a reward, we remove the points, even if they were already available. Your balance can go below zero if points you were credited are later reversed.
- Our mistakes. If we credit points by mistake, for example because of a technical error, we may correct it.
7. Games
- All games in Hunt are free to play. You never pay, and points are never used, to enter or play a game.
- There are no games of chance for points. No points or prizes depend on luck, a random draw or betting.
- Game results, such as scores or winning, do not earn points or prizes. Where we give points for games, they are a fixed amount for taking part, or for completing a partner's game offer, the same for everyone who qualifies.
- We do not offer, promote or allow online money games, betting or gambling in Hunt, as India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025 requires.
8. Referrals
- You can invite friends with your referral link or code. You earn referral points when a friend you invited creates a new account, signs in on a new install and stays active for the number of days shown in the referral panel.
- A referral counts the same whichever Hunt app or extension your friend uses. Installing something is never enough on its own.
- Referrals are one level only. You earn only for people you invite directly, never for anyone they invite.
- Inviting yourself, using a second account, reinstalling, or inviting people on the same device does not count.
- Don't spam your link, post it where the site's rules forbid it, or offer people money to sign up.
- We may set a limit on how many referrals earn points.
9. Expiry
- Points expire if your account has no earning activity for 12 months.
- We will warn you in Hunt, or by email or SMS if you have agreed to it, before points expire.
- Pending points that are reversed do not become available.
10. Fraud and misuse
The programme only works if it is fair. You must not:
- use bots, scripts, emulators, virtual machines, click farms or automation, or keep Hunt open just to earn points without using it;
- create or control more than one account, or use another person's account;
- use a VPN, proxy or other method to hide your location, or to get offers meant for another country;
- complete offers with false details, or complete an offer and then cancel it to keep the points;
- invite yourself, or use fake or bought referrals;
- produce fake impressions or clicks on sponsored items;
- exploit a bug or error instead of reporting it to us;
- sell, buy or trade points or accounts.
To detect misuse we use signals such as several accounts on one install or computer, many new accounts from one internet connection, unusually many offer credits in a day, and offers from a different country than usual. This is explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Holds, reviews and appeals
If we see signs of misuse, we may:
- hold points while we review your account (you can keep earning, but held points cannot be used);
- freeze your account's points;
- reverse or remove points earned against these terms;
- limit features, or close your account.
A person on our team reviews a case before we close an account for fraud. We will tell you, where the law allows, what we found and how to respond. You can ask for a review through the Grievance Redressal page, and we will answer within the times set out there.
12. Taxes
You are responsible for any tax on what you receive from the programme, except where the law requires us to deduct or collect tax. When redemption opens, its terms will explain any tax steps, such as asking for your PAN.
13. Changing or ending the programme
- We may change these terms, the ways to earn and the points values. We will show the changes in Hunt before they take effect, and tell you directly about important changes.
- We may end the programme. If we do after redemption has opened, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a fair chance to redeem available points under the redemption terms in force.
- If redemption has not opened when the programme ends, points end with it, because they have no cash value.
14. Closing your account
You can leave the programme at any time by deleting your account. Your points end when your account is deleted, and cannot be recovered. We will show you your balance before you confirm.
If we close your account for breaking these terms, your points end. If we close it for any other reason after redemption has opened, we will give you a fair chance to redeem available points first.
15. Our responsibility
We run the programme with reasonable care. We are not responsible for partners' decisions on offers and purchases, or for delays caused by partners. Our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
16. Questions and complaints
Ask about your points at hello@huntbrowser.com. For a complaint, see the Grievance Redressal page. These terms are governed by the laws of India, as set out in our Terms of Service.
